Our Fair Cares

Sept 11: Every Woman Can

Every Woman Can is a grassroots organization made up of survivors, advocates and warrior volunteers on a mission to be at the heart of the women’s cancer fight right here in the Inland Northwest.

Thanks to our partnership with the @SpokaneCountyInterstateFair, 100% of donations received will fund EWC Love Totes for women in cancer treatment. #NoOneFightsAlone #EveryWomanCanLoveTote

Sept 12: SpokAnimal

SpokAnimal is passionately dedicated to the placement, protection and health of animals through legislation, education and programs for pets and their people. We are asking for monetary donations to use to buy kitten food and cat litter. We currently have about 300 kittens in our foster system and it takes a lot of supplies to raise all the babies! With a wonderful local partnership with AFCO, we are able to use the money to buy double the product that can be purchased at the store. We receive no funding and rely on the amazing generous donations of our donors to help us find new homes for over 3,000 animals per year!

Sept 13: Spokane Valley Partners

Spokane Valley Partners Food Bank & Family Services. Diaper affordability is a national crisis which is why The Inland Northwest Diaper Bank exists. A clean, fresh diaper is not a luxury item; it is a necessity. However, the unfortunate reality is that 1 in 3 families nationwide struggle to afford diapers and often have to choose between purchasing food for their family and buying diapers for their baby. Help diapers baby. Donate diapers and wipes or make a donation via text to give. $30 can diaper a baby for one month and $5 can provide 30 diapers to a baby in need.

Sept 18: Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest. We provide temporary lodging, comfort and support for families with children accessing medical services in Spokane, and supports related efforts to improve children’s health in our region. With your help, we are #KeepingFamiliesClose.

We will be on-site we will be collecting Tide Pods, Paper Towels, Tall Kitchen Garbage Bags, and Cash Donations. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Thank you Ziggy’s Home Improvement for building and donating the She Shed.

Sept 20: Coats 4 Kids

Coats 4 Kids is in its 35th year of collecting new and gently used warm winter coats for local children in need. All donations are cleaned and delivered to various distribution sites around the inland northwest. Cash donations all go to buying brand new coats. 4 News Now’s Coats 4 Kids collects around 10,000 coats a year and will need your help this year especially as the need for coats will be as great as ever.

Look for the brown cardboard boxes on-site with the Coats 4 Kids flyers on them to donate. Thanks for helping us keep kids warm this winter!
