The 2024 Spokane County Interstate Fair is pleased to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1974 World’s Fair (Expo) held in Spokane with the creation of the World Market! This market will feature goods by artisans from around the world, globally-represented entertainment, fresh fruit, and ethnically-diverse foods.

We agree to abide by the rules and regulations stipulated in the actual contract, should space be available. By submitting this application, I hereby authorize the Fair to secure information concerning any of the above facts.

Booth Layout

Fine Print

  • Space for your canopy (in 10’ x 10’ increments). All display items including tables and chairs must be provided by vendor. Booths should be eye-catching and organized and include attractive signage that clearly identifies  your company name. Booths must be weighted down; staking is not permitted.
  • Cost – $75 per day (Saturday or Sunday) / $50 per day (Monday through Friday).
    • 2 one-day tickets per day for staffing.
    • 1 parking pass for the West Side of Bay 3.
  • Only one vendor allowed per booth space; booth spaces may not be sublet, shared, or transferred.
  • Vendors must conduct all business from their assigned booth area.
  • The sale or display of obscene or vulgar material is prohibited. Loudspeakers, amplifiers, and sound devices are prohibited. Children of vendors must be under control of their parents or guardian at all times. Pets are prohibited in the market for health and safety reasons. Vendors are not allowed to smoke, vape or use tobacco products within the market footprint at any time.
  • All items for sale must be clearly marked with the retail price. Prices may be posted on the product with an individual sign or posted as a list of prices on a large sign or board.
  • Set-up begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday-Sunday, 10:30 a.m. on Monday through Friday. This permits those traveling in / out Yellow Gate for restocking to be off the grounds and out of your way! The fair opens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday – Sunday and 11:00 a.m. on Monday through Friday. Booths must be open, operating, and staffed by Noon each day.
  • Items for sale must be pre-approved by SCF&EC Fair Management and must be “international” in flavor. 
  • Imported items for sale must be handmade artisan products. Pre-manufactured, mass-produced, or commercial products will not be considered except under special circumstances and will be extremely limited.
  • A vendor may sell items with their company logo (t-shirts, aprons, caps, etc.) with prior approval as long as these are not the primary items for sale in the vendor’s booth.
  • Vendors are not permitted to use the following techniques while at the market: hawking, calling attention to products in a loud, repetitive public manner or selling products in an aggressive way.
  • Food items will be permitted on a case-by-case basis and may require a permit from the Spokane Regional Health Department and an additional percentage payment. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the Market.
  • Closing down each night…we highly recommend that you take / secure your items if remaining for the following day. Guests will be exiting through this area until 8:30 p.m. on Sundays and then closer to 11 p.m. the remainder of the Fair. You may close at 8:00 p.m., however, you may miss out on some sales as guests are exiting. 
  • Applications must be submitted on or before August 1, 2024.
  • All participants must provide general liability insurance or purchase a policy through the SCF&EC for $65.
  • Applications must include a list of all items the vendor desires to sell and broad descriptions such as “novelties” or “toys” will not be accepted.
